Yiota Victoria Phakoukaki holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from University College London (UCL), with expertise in process optimization and the development of innovative engineering systems that support sustainable and scalable technological advancement. Currently at the KIOS Research and Innovation Center of Excellence (University of Cyprus), she leads the DiGiNN and FINEX projects. FINEX supports the acceleration of EU clean technologies, fostering innovation and investment in sustainable solutions, while DiGiNN operates as the Digital Innovation Hub of Cyprus, strengthening digital transformation and technological adoption. Through these initiatives, KIOS contributes to advancing innovation ecosystems aligned with Europe’s sustainability and climate objectives.
