Jacques Delsalle is Senior Expert at the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (DG MARE), specializing in maritime innovation, marine knowledge, investment, and the Secretariat of the Mission Ocean and Waters. A transport economist by training, he spent 10 years working on transport planning and corporate strategy , before joining the European Commission, where he has mainly focused on economic analysis, transport and environmental modeling, impact assessment and evaluation, in the areas of transport, air pollution, land use, water and marine environment.
